MEDIA ADVISORY- Groups Rally at Capitol to Kick Off Signature Gathering for Graduated Income Tax

A broad coalition of grassroots, policy, advocacy groups, and supporters will hold a rally on the west steps of the Colorado Capitol to kick off a statewide campaign to collect signatures to get a graduated income tax ballot question on the November, 2026 ballot.

WHO: Protect Colorado’s Future, a coalition of 19 organizations, is holding the rally

WHAT: We will have five speakers, including the coalition’s co-leaders, and three Coloradans whose experiences show why we need a graduated income tax

WHERE: West steps of the Colorado Capitol, 200 E. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO

WHEN: Tuesday, March, 17, 2026. Noon to 1 p.m.

WHY: To showcase the proposed ballot question, our grassroots work to gather signatures, and the broad range of groups and individuals supporting this effort
