Through her leadership in education organizations including the Colorado Legacy Foundation, the Denver Public Schools Foundation, Colorado Succeeds, Teach for America-Colorado, Denver Museum of Nature & Science, and the Denver Education Compact, she has expanded educational opportunities and brightened the future for thousands of students in Denver and throughout Colorado.

Always prioritizing student success by promoting the teaching profession, engaging the parent and business communities, and leading by example, Dr. Stevenson’s career exemplifies the kind of educational excellence and dedication that Vicki Mattox strived to make possible through her own work and civic involvement.
