DESCRIPTION:Calling all public education advocates! Join us for the March organizing meeting of Public School Strong Colorado! \nWe’ll provide a brief update on the state of public education in Colorado before jumping into our organizing work! Returning attendees will talk about defending against the federal tax credit voucher program\, learn how to support school funding ballot measures\, and discuss keeping our students safe in school. New attendees will be oriented to Public School Strong Colorado. \nPublic School Strong Colorado is a collaboration between Great Education Colorado\, Colorado Education Association\, Colorado PTA\, and Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition\, as well as our national partner HEAL Together. We meet the first Thursday of every month on Zoom at 5 pm MT. \nPublic School Strong Colorado is made up of parents\, students\, educators\, advocates\, and community members who are committed to honest\, equitable\, and fully funded public schools. We organize by school district across a variety of issues that affect Colorado’s public education system. Together\, we will:\nAdvocate for all students in our school districts;\nConnect with other advocates in our communities;\nJoin a nationwide movement to advance a vision of honest\, equitable\, and fully funded public education for every student

Each month Great Ed’s Advocates Network community comes together to hear updates about public education and learn about opportunities to plug into education advocacy.
